The term Majestic-12 or MK-12 or the 'Unholy 13' refers to the originating group that was formed under President Truman to secure and control the knowledge of and property recovered from any 'foreign' propulsion systems.
This came to include ANY material referring to or pertaining to extra-terrestrials or to any alien technology recovered and especially to any scientific concepts deriving from reverse-engineering these materials.
This group became the ultimate gate-keepers sequestering all credible information concerning extra-terrestrials, UFO incursions or crash recoveries. They created the original layers of DISINFORMATION that protected this information from prying eyes by denying that it even existed in the first place. Any object found that was obviously not created by human technology immediately disappeared behind the curtain of secrecy maintained by MK-12.
Laws were hurriedly passed to prohibit the removal or possession of any debris from a crash site that appeared to be of extra-terrestrial origin. These laws provided cover for authorities to swoop down and immediately confiscate any suspect materials and impound them "pending further investigation".
Should any member of the general public unaffiliated with the military or government claim they were in possession of materials or debris that could be demonstrated as originating from an extra-terrestrial source they rapidly found it taken away by government agents.
Any "extraordinary proof of extraordinary claims" disclosed publicly quickly disappeared into the official labyrinth leaving the claimants with nothing but easily doubted verbal testimony. And those with any unreported materials grabbed as souvenirs decided wisely to keep their mouths shut and the object hidden under the floorboards until some more favorable climate in the future.
Either way, the "proof" is out of circulation and the government gets to have it both ways -- they can claim there IS NO verified extraterrestrial material, that there is NO PROOF of extraterrestrials, and if any proof DOES turn up YOU can't keep it or let anybody know about it because it's illegal to possess any of this stuff which doesn't exist anyway! Does this sound a bit "Alice in Wonderland" to you? Don't complain, or the Red Queen will say, "Off with his head!"
Would our government officials use drugs to illegally experiment on unsuspecting subjects without their consent? From declassified documents we know the answer is yes! Is there any reason to doubt that our government is still keeping secrets from American Citizens today? - Project Paperclip - A precursor of the MKUltra program began in 1945 when the Joint Intelligence Objectives Agency was established and given direct responsibility for Operation Paperclip. The program recruited former Nazi scientists, some of whom studied torture and brainwashing, and several of which had been identified and prosecuted as war criminals during the Nuremburg Trials.
- Project MKUltra, or MK-Ultra, a covert, illegal human research program into behavioral modification run by the Central Intelligence Agency's (CIA) Office of Scientific Intelligence. The program began in the early 1950s, was officially sanctioned in 1953, was reduced in scope in 1964, further curtailed in 1967 and finally halted in 1973.
- SRI - In July 1995 the CIA declassified, and approved for release, documents revealing its sponsorship in the 1970s of a program at Stanford Research Institute in Menlo Park, CA, to determine whether such phenomena as remote viewing "might have any utility for intelligence collection."
Operation Paperclip
This was a program to recruit former Nazi Scientists to assist in studies involving brainwashing and torture.
Many experiments were conducted at Fort Ord, California, Ft Carson, Colorado, and Ft Leonardwood, Missouri, in advanced field training for experiments in Remote Viewing and ‘target discovery’ operations for classified assignments during the years 1964-1967. This was independent of the later program designed and developed by Dr. Harold Puthoff of the Institute for Advanced Study Austin.
During the early years of the project at Fort Ord neuron-acceleration agents were developed and subsequent testing on participants drawn from the enlisted men of the camp resulted in several deaths. The use of these bio-chemical agents was discontinued and the illnesses and deaths were blamed on spinal-meningitis and pneumonia. An outbreak of spinal meningitis at Fort Ord was widely publicized at the time as the cause of death of dozens of young men. How many were actually deaths related to participation in the experiments? Others who survived were trained and deployed to various tasks by the military. It is unknown whether the survivors gained any permanent benefits such as improved cognitive functions or faster neuro muscular ability
Several secret U.S. government projects grew out of Operation Paperclip. These projects included
Project CHATTER (established 1947), and Project BLUEBIRD (established 1950), which was renamed
Project ARTICHOKE in 1951. Their purpose was to study mind control, interrogation, behavior modification and related topics.
MK-Ultra
The project's intentionally oblique CIA cryptonym is made up of the digraph MK, meaning that the project was sponsored by the agency's Technical Services Staff, followed by the word Ultra (which had previously been used to designate the most secret classification of World War II intelligence). Other related cryptonyms include Project MKNAOMI and Project MKDELTA.
Intelligence experiments with several drugs under the codename MKULTRA, were covertly and illegally conducted by the CIA’s Office of Scientific Intelligence and previously under the OSI's “Operation Bright” on unwitting human subjects. Some of the drugs utilized in these programs included Cylert and LSD, tested on subjects in apparently everyday situations where the regular citizens or service personnel had no idea a test was even being conducted. The disturbing results of these potent mind-altering drugs on unprepared individuals was certainly unethical and sometimes tragic.
Though no progress was made in terms of "mind control" or "truth serum" or psychic phenomena some subjects were pushed into further psychotic episodes and at least one committed suicide during the experiment. The culture of these agencies at the height of the Cold War seems to be one of "the ends justifies the means." Subject to public scrutiny, investigations in Congress, and attempts to curb their worst excesses over the intervening years, have they become any less amoral and unaccountable in the 21st century? Or are they just covering their tracks more carefully?
Headed by Sidney Gottlieb, the MK-ULTRA project was started on the order of CIA director Allen Welsh Dulles on April 13, 1953, largely in response to alleged Soviet, Chinese, and North Korean use of mind control techniques on U.S. prisoners of war in Korea. The CIA wanted to use similar methods on their own captives. The CIA was also interested in being able to manipulate foreign leaders with such techniques, and would later concoct several schemes to drug or poison Fidel Castro.
In 1951, Gottlieb joined the Central Intelligence Agency. As a poison expert, he headed the chemical division of the Technical Services Staff (TSS). Gottlieb became known as the "Black Sorcerer" and the "Dirty Trickster." He supervised preparations of lethal poisons and experiments in mind control. Gottlieb was born in the Bronx under the name Joseph Scheider. He received a Ph.D. in chemistry from the California Institute of Technology.
By April, 1953, Sidney Gottlieb was the head of the secret Project MKULTRA. Dr. Sidney Gottlieb approved of an MKULTRA subproject on LSD in this June 9, 1953 letter. (see document below). Gottlieb became infamous for administering LSD and other psycho-active drugs to unwitting subjects and for financing psychiatric research and development of "techniques that would crush the human psyche to the point that it would admit anything." He sponsored physicians such as Ewen Cameron and Harris Isbell in controversial psychiatric research that used unwitting humans as guinea pigs. Experiments conducted without the subjects' knowledge or consent caused many participants to suffer serious adverse affects; research financed by the CIA via Gottlieb and the Rockefeller Foundation. .

In March 1960, under The Cuban Project, a CIA plan approved by President Eisenhower and under the direction of CIA Directorate for Plans, Richard M. Bissell, Gottlieb came up with ideas to spray Fidel Castro's television studio with LSD and to saturate Castro's shoes with thallium so that the hair of his beard would fall out. Gottlieb also hatched schemes to assassinate Castro, including the use of a poisoned cigar, a poisoned wetsuit, an exploding conch shell, and a poisonous fountain pen.
He also tried to have Iraq's General Abdul Karim Qassim's handkerchief contaminated with botulinum. Less known was an operation within the CIA's Phoenix Program in Vietnam where a team of CIA psychologists performed mind control experiments on NLF suspects being detained at Bien Hoa Prison outside of Saigon. Gottlieb is said to have played a role in funding investigation into paranormal phenomena, including remote viewing.
In 1964, the project was renamed MKSEARCH. The project attempted to produce a perfect truth drug for use in interrogating suspected Soviet spies during the Cold War, and generally to explore any other possibilities of mind control.
Another MKULTRA effort, Subproject 54, was the Navy's top secret "Perfect Concussion" program, which was supposed to use sub-aural frequency blasts to erase memory, however the program was never carried out.
Interesting to note that HAARP was later developed and is now in use with its home base in Alaska. (See H.A.A.R.P.)
Because most MKULTRA records were deliberately destroyed in 1973 by order of then CIA director Richard Helms, it has been difficult, if not impossible, for investigators to gain a complete understanding of the more than 150 individually funded research sub-projects sponsored by MKULTRA and related CIA programs. In some cases, academic researchers were funded through grants from CIA front organizations and were unaware that their work was being made possible by the CIA so it would be easy to observe the resulting research, and utilize it for their own, often very different, purposes.
Standford Research Institute (SRI)
In July 1995 the CIA declassified, and approved for release, documents revealing its sponsorship in the 1970s of a program at Stanford Research Institute in Menlo Park, CA, to determine whether such phenomena as remote viewing "might have any utility for intelligence collection." By the early 1980s numerous offices throughout the intelligence community were providing taskings to SRI's psychics, but the collaboration never resulted in any useful intelligence information.
